Alrue Vespa

Alrue Vespa, 91 of Greensburg, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2009 in Westmoreland Manor. She was born Wednesday, March 20, 1918 in Roaring Springs, Daughter of the late Andrew and Marie Smith. Alrue was a retired Registered Nurse for Excela Westmoreland Hospital with 31 years of service. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Greensburg and after retirement was a volunteer with Excela Westmoreland Hospital. Alrue was preceded in death besides her parents by her husband William E. Vespa and a sister Beulah Croft. Surviving are two Daughters, Bobbe Holloway and husband Harold of Greensburg, and Kathleen Latta and husband Paul of Maryland, and four Grandchildren Christen Casteel and husband Mark, Stephen Holloway and wife Jaime, Grant Holloway, Trip Latta, Five Great grandchildren. and a Brother, Herbert Smith of Roaring Springs Family and Friends will be received Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 N. Main Street Greensburg. Services will be held in the Funeral Home on Thursday at 10:30 am with Rev. Dr. Duane Morford officiating. Entombment will follow in the St. Clair Cemetery.
