Audrey Schmidt
September 19, 1936 — January 20, 2017
Audrey M. Schmidt, 80 of Greensburg passed away Friday, January 20, 2017 at Westmoreland Manor.
She was born September 19, 1936 in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Harrison and Blanche (Harbaugh) Smail.
Audrey was a member of the Greensburg Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed playing bingo for many years at the Moose and was also a member of the Women of the Moose.
Prior to retirement, she worked as a custodian at the Westmoreland Court House.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband. Louis Schmidt, five brothers, and a granddaughter, Christina Recklein.
Surviving are her children, Charleen Rhome, Linda Grabb (Edward), Louis Schmidt, Blanche (Terry) Marshall, and Dewayne (Nan) Schmidt; eighteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; sisters, Nancy and Kathy; brothers, Harry, Ronald, Robert, Clyde, and Louis; numerous nieces and nephews; and very dear friend, James Clark.
Audrey's family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Westmoreland Manor.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg.
Additional visitation will be on Wednesday at the Greensburg Church of the Brethren 554 Stanton Street, Greensburg from 10am until the time of service at 11.
Interment will follow in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
