Daniel Meenan, Jr.
February 13, 1931 — February 24, 2016
Daniel F. Meenan, Jr., 85 of Greensburg, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Excela Latrobe Hospital.
He was born February 13, 1931 in Pittsburgh, son of the late Daniel Francis Sr. and Ruth Esther (Bush) Meenan.
Dan graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and was an avid Pitt fan. Prior to retirement, he worked as a Chemist at Westinghouse for over 30 years.
He was a longstanding member of Charter Oak Church in Greensburg. Dan enjoyed golfing and spending his summer vacations at Conneaut Lake and winters in Sarasota, FL with family and friends.
Surviving are his loving wife, Jean (Nagode) Meenan; sons Daniel (Kelly), Gary (Betty Ann), Larry (Maria) and six grandchildren, Michael (Kayla) Tamer, Jason (Emily), Chelsea, Justin, Kirsten, and Brian (Kelly) Meenan along with his favorite cat Puddin.
Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home, 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg.
Services will be held on Saturday at 12:30 pm in the Charter Oak Church with Rev. Chris Whitehead officiating. (Everyone go directly to the church).
The family wishes to thank the Doctor's and Staff of Excela Latrobe Hospital for the excellent care and compassion shown to Dan.
