Francis Waugaman

March 16, 1917 — December 11, 2011

Francis Waugaman , 94 of Southwest Greensburg, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2011 at the Excela Westmoreland Hospital .

He was born on March 16, 1917 in Youngwood and was the son of the late Edward and Luella Waugaman.

Francis served in the Army during WW II and was in the Normandy invasion and the Battle of the Bulge.

He was a retired employee for REA Express Co. with 37 years of service.

Francis was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church in Youngwood.

He was preceded in death besides his parents by his brother Robert Waugaman and his sister June Scheff and brother-in-law John Scheff.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Margaret Panosky Waugaman and a daughter Carol Sue Marko and husband Michael of Greensburg; .

Family and friends will be received at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, (an authorized remembrance provider) 524 N. Main St. Greensburg on Monday from 6 to 8 PM.

A funeral Service will be held on Tuesday in the funeral home at 10 am with Rev. Chris Livermore officiating .
Interment with full military honors accorded by the VFW Post #33 Honor Guard will follow in St. Clair Cemetery.
