Jennifer Ann Lindberg-Singler, 34, of Greensburg passed away of natural causes on Sunday, Aug. 6, 2017, in her home. She was born Oct. 10, 1982, in Greensburg, PA, the daughter of Jay and Gloria Lindberg. She was a proud mother of Johnathan (BJ), four years old, and her life centered around all things him. Jennifer graduated from Hempfield High School in 2002 and completed her BSED in Early Childhood and Special Education at IUP in 2006. She was an Enhanced Learning Support teacher at Mt. View Elementary school. As an adolescent, she was an accomplished fast-pitch pitcher in West Point Little League and participated in the Little League World Series. She continued her softball passion into adulthood by partnering with her father to coach pitching clinics. Jennifer enjoyed caring for her son, gardening, family outings and spending time with friends and family. Her family is grateful to her many neighbors and friends who were always kind to her.
Jennifer is survived by her son, Johnathan, her parents, Jay and Gloria Lindberg of Greensburg, her sisters, Jamie (Michael) Golden of Greensburg, and Lisa (Bryan) Trabucco of Greensburg, nieces and nephews, Gabriel and McKayla Golden, and Adriauna and Rocco Trabucco. She is also survived by her grandmother, Emma Louise Lindberg of McKeesport; her aunts and uncles, Sharon (Ron) Alfer of McKeesport, Sandy (Dennis) Riazzi of Penn Trafford, Ron (Marilyn) Lindberg of North Huntingdon, Dina (Mark) Opsitnick of Southwest Greensburg, Sam (Carol) Avvampato of Greensburg; many cousins, and her two dogs Kane and Tyson.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ronald W. Lindberg, Ignazzio C. and Bertha Avvampato. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 3 to 8 pm at KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME INC., 524 N. Main St., Greensburg. Jennifer’s funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 am in Our Lady of Grace Church, 1001 Mt. Pleasant Road, Greensburg. Please everyone go directly to the church. Interment will be private.
