Linda L Trout died peacefully in the CMC Main ICU in Charlotte, North Carolina on July 1, 2017 at the age of 63 due to complications of Cholangiocarcinoma. Linda had also been a dialysis patient for over 25 years.
Linda was born on September 3, 1953 in Mt Pleasant, PA to Gilbert “Hoot” and Betty I Trout. She graduated from Greensburg Salem in 1972. She lived in Greensburg most of her life caring for each of her parents until their death and her older brother. Due to her health, she moved into her sister’s home in Fort Mill, SC in 2011, which allowed her to be closer to her daughter in Little River, SC.
Linda loved children and animals; she had a wonderful and exuberant personality. She gave of herself without question and would treat others with kindness. Even though she had limited resources, she always found in her heart to give small donations to various non-profit organizations like the humane society, veterans groups, diabetes, lung cancer, etc...
Linda is survived by her daughter Lissa L Trout, of Little River, SC, her sisters Tina L Trout, Fort Mill, SC and Teresa Frye of Jeannette, PA. Linda had nieces and a nephew she adored. She is preceded in death by her brother Gilbert J, mother Betty, and father Gilbert H all from Greensburg, PA. Linda also adored and loved pets especially her dog Lexie.
Family and friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg. A service is scheduled for Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 10 AM in the funeral home and continued at the Westmoreland Memorial Park in Greensburg, with a reception to follow. Robert Garris, pastor will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Linda's life.
