Sandra Victor Moldovan, 85, passed away on February 1, 2017 at TrustBridge Hospice in Delray Medical Center, Florida. Born April 2, 1931 in Chicago, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Sylvia (Becker) Victor. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, friend and dance partner of 64 years, Jack Moldovan. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Sheila Kassel (Barry) and son Barry Moldovan both of Greensburg; grandson Joshua Kassel (Maddy) of Tacoma; granddaughter Jessica (Eric Chandler) of San Francisco; brother, Edward (Mim) of Los Angeles and numerous nieces and nephews.
She attended the University of Illinois until introduced to her future husband, marrying in Chicago and relocating to Greensburg. Her kind, generous and approachable nature earned her the love and warmth of many, none more special than her Wednesday Mah Jongg group. She enjoyed golf, attending sporting events, book clubs, travel, and entertaining. She took leadership roles with the Girl Scouts, Literacy Council and Temple Sisterhood. Her grandchildren were sources of light and joy.
Friends and family will be received on Monday February 6 from 10-11 a.m. in the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, INC. 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg where funeral services will follow at 11 am with Rabbi Sara Perman officiating. Interment will follow at B’Nai Israel Cemetery. Instead of flowers, the family requests that you remember Sandra with a contribution to Congregation Emanu-El Israel (222 N. Main St., Greensburg) or a charity of choice.
