Tressa Porterfield

Tressa Mae Porterfield, 95 of Greensburg, formerly of Connellsville, peacefully passed on November 5, 2018.

Born May 30, 1923, she was well known as the 'sample lady' at Giant Eagle stores for forty plus years. She never met a stranger. Tressa was the last member of her immediate family.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lester Ray Porterfield, April 1998.

She is survived by daughter, Sandra R. Cofer and her husband, David; son, Randall L. Porterfield; four grandchildren and three great granddaughters.

Guests will be received from 6-8pm Friday, November 9 at KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg.

A private entombment is planned at a later date. "A Life well lived." The last hymn she sang on October 25 was "It is well with my soul."

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Teddie's Treasures Saltville Public Library 111 Palmer Avenue, Saltville, VA 24370 This library provides children's programming and author visits to promote lifelong learning.
