Albert M. "Bud" Barnett, 90, of Greensburg, passed away, Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at Newhaven Court at Lindwood. He was born Oct. 4, 1927, in Latrobe, a son of the late Wilbert M. and Mary Pearl (Maust) Barnett. Bud served during World War II with the Air Force. He was a member of Harrold Zion Lutheran Church in Greensburg. Bud was very active in the community, serving as a Red Cross volunteer and board member and member of the Youngwood Sportsman's Club, Greensburg Masonic Lodge 225 F. and A.M., the VFW and American Legion in Latrobe and a former board member of the Westmoreland Conservation District. He was also a life member of the NRA. Prior to retirement, he worked for Kennametal in Latrobe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lorraine Belant; and a great-granddaughter, Sky Raygor. Surviving are his wife, Helen (Allhouse) Barnett; daughter, Debra Barnett; son, Dennis Barnett (Debra); five grandchildren, Drew (Aimee), Derk, and Denae Barnett, Alisha (Neil) Natic and Kara Raygor; and three great-grandchildren, Preston and Lawson Natic and Braden Barnett. Honoring Bud's wishes, there will be no public visitation. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Harrold Zion Lutheran Church, 671 Baltzer Meyer Pike, Greensburg, PA 15601, with the Rev. John M. Smaligo officiating. Private interment will be in Harrold Zion Lutheran Cemetery. KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME is entrusted with the arrangements.
