Albert A. Brosnick, 80, of Greensburg (Luxor), died Friday, Sept. 16, 2022, in, Mt. Pleasant. He was born Aug. 1, 1942, in Greensburg; the son of the late Andrew Brosnick Sr. and Jennie (Marol) Brosnick.
Albert was a member of St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church, in Crabtree. Al was a veteran of the Navy, having served for six years. He was an avid bowler throughout his life, and during his youth, he enjoyed playing baseball and softball. He was previously employed by Norwin Diner and Sears Automotive Department, and also worked in auto parts delivery.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Andrew Jr., George, Paul, Joseph and William Brosnick; and by his sisters, Mary Johnson, Agnes Amole, Helen Nagel and Evelyn Cackowski.
He is survived by his sons, Albert (Emily) Schultz, of Seabeck, Wash., and their family, Wyatt, Weston, and Ashley, and Richard (Lisa) Schultz, of Davenport, Wash., and their family, Richard, Justin, Rigo, Nate, Teo, and Nikki; sisters, Irene Noel, and Pauline Tometsko, of Greensburg; sister-in-law, Rose Brosnick; and he is also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff and management of Harmon House Care Center for their thoughtful treatment and care.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, 2022, at St. Bartholomew Church, Crabtree, with Father Justin Matro as celebrant. Interment will be private, with military honors performed at Westmoreland County Memorial Park by the VFW Post 33 Honor Guard.
