Albert Huba

Albert Huba, 83 of Greensburg passed away Thursday, April 22, 2010 in St. Anne Home.

He was born Friday, August 27, 1926 in Fredericktown (Washington Co,), Son of the late John and Mary Teresa Zolmerchik Huba.

Al served in the Navy during WW II and was the owner and operator of Huba Auto Service in Greensburg for 38 years. He enjoyed his hunting, fishing and working in his garden. He was a member of the Hillview Bowling League and the Main Bowling League.

He was preceded in death besides his parents by seven brothers and three sisters.

Surviving are his loving wife, Janice Hall Huba and Son, Stephen A. Huba and wife Susan LaRue Huba, a Grandson, Nolan William Huba all of Greensburg , two Sisters, Veronica Shriner of Pittsburgh , and Caroline Sims of Bay Springs, Mississippi and a Sister in law, Patricia Hall and husband Dr. Theo Schultz of Greensburg..

Family and Friends will be received Sunday 2-4 & 6-8 at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 N. Main Street Greensburg.

Services will be held in the Funeral Home, Monday at 10 am with Rev. Steven Craft officiating.

Entombment with full military honors accorded by the VFW Post #33 will be held in the Westmoreland Co. Memorial Park.
