Alfred M. Dey, 81 of Greensburg, passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2010 at his home.
He was born in Butler on 12/31/1928 a Son of the late Chester and Bertha Dey.
He was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and had served in the Army during the Korean War.
He had been employed with the West Penn Power and Allegheny Power Company for 41 years. Alfred was a member of Westmoreland Masonic Lodge #518 and was a member of the Scottish Rite (32nd degree). He was an active member of the Laurel Highlands Model Airplane Club.
He had been preceded in death besides his parents by his brothers Wesley and Chester Dey and sister Marge Stimple.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Helen B. Dey, a son Wesley Dey and wife Norma, a daughter Cynthia Pischke and husband Robert and three grandchildren, Ryan, Jason and Sean Pischke.
Family and friends will be received at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home 524 N. Main Street Greensburg on Thursday from 11 am to 1 PM with a funeral service to begin at 1 PM with Rev. Chris Whitehead officiating.
Members of Westmoreland Lodge #518 will conduct masonic servcies at 12:45 pm on Thursday.
