Allan Leslie Pierce, 73, of Latrobe, passed away peacefully at Brookdale Senior Living on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. He was born September 14, 1951, in Greensburg, a son of the late Mae (Cadzow) and Dr. Leslie Pierce. In addition to his parents, Allan was preceded in death by his wife, Rosella DeAugustine Pierce. Allan was a proud graduate of the 1973 class of Greensburg Salem High School where he was an assistant basketball manager and received the Rick Seeno student of the year award. Allan was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church of Greensburg, and was also an avid fan of Pitt, the Pirates, and the Steelers. During his youth, he travelled extensively with his parents in the United States and Europe. Allan loved animals, especially dogs. Allan is survived by his sister Cynthia Snodgrass and brother-in-law, Bill as well as his nieces Megan Beakley (Michael), Kristin Novak (Matthew); eight great nieces and nephews, and cousins Chris (Bob) Phillips, John Piribek and Roger Caughey. Family and friends will be received on Friday, October 4th from noon until the hour of service at 2 pm at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Jeannette. The family wishes to thank the wonderful nurses and staff at Brookdale where Allan resided for nineteen years and Bridges Hospice.
