Allen Wirick

Allen H. Wirick, 87 of Greensburg, passed away, Monday, February 26, 2018 in Excela Westmoreland Hospital.

He was born June 7, 1930 in Greensburg, the son of the late  Frederick Leslie and Mildred (Brant) Wirick.

Allen was a member of First Reformed United Church of Christ of Greensburg. He also belonged to the Western PA Region, AACA of Latrobe and Ligonier.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah 'Sally' M. Wirick.

Surviving are his children, Dennis H. Wirick of Greensburg, Allene Rock and husband, Gilbert of Allentown, Pamela Yothers and husband, Lee of Greensburg, Leslie G. Wirick of Montana, and Mark A. Wirick and wife, Nina of Bedford; sixteen grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; sisters, Donna Vargo and husband, Don of Latrobe and Barbara Shick and husband, Robert of Greensburg; brother-in-law, Joe Iapalucci of Greensburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Honoring Allen's wishes there will be no public visitation.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 9th at 1pm at the First Reformed United Church of Christ 312 S. Maple Ave, Greensburg, PA 15601.

Interment will be in St. Clair Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First United Church of Christ Church.
