Amelia Lisowitz

Amelia R. Lisowitz, 72, passed away, Tuesday, September 21, 2010. She was born February 8, 1938 in Franklin a daughter of the late John and Virginia Sousae Razzando.

Amelia retired from Westmoreland County Community College where she was employed as a Vocational Counselor. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and was a volunteer at the Arnold Palmer UPMC Pavilion. She enjoyed art and traveling and especially loved and enjoyed her grandchildren and her beloved pet, Paris.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her mother and father in law, Isabell and Fred DuChateau.

She is survived by her three loving children, Scott DuChateau and his wife Karen; Laurie DuChateau and Linda Burns and her husband Erik; four grandchildren, Danielle DuChateau, Rachel DuChateau, Logan Burns and Ashanti and wife Alicia Lisowitz; two sisters, MaryAnn Manning and her husband Roy and Rita Cwynar and her husband Robert; a special cousin, James Sousae and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Family and friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm in the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, INC. 524 N. Main St. Greensburg. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at 9:30 am in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to UPMC Cancer Centers Arnold Palmer Pavilion at Mountain View 200 Village Drive Greensburg, PA 15601. Terence L. Graft, funeral director, entrusted with the arrangements.
