Andrew Richard Balash, 78 of Greensburg, passed away peacefully, Saturday, March 1, 2014 in Mountainview Specialty Care Center.
He was born March 11, 1935 in Greensburg, PA, son of the late Elizabeth Balash.
Andrew enjoyed having coffee at various diners with friends.
Before his retirement he worked as a US Steelworker for Firth Sterling.
Surviving are his daughters, Christine Balash, and Jodi Unsinger and husband, George; son, James Balash and wife, MariLynn; four grandchildren, and brothers, Henry Stough, and David Clayton.
Honoring Andrew's wishes there will be no public visitation. Services will be held privately.
Interment will take place in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
