Ann Bair

Ann Howell Bair, 88, of Greensburg, died Sunday, June 26, 2016 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital.  She was born in Greensburg on May 23, 1928, a daughter of the late Chester A. and Freeda Thompson Howell.  She was a member of Zion’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Greensburg.  Ann was an auxiliary member of Greensburg Fire Department Hose Company # 8, where she cooked Shuey Burgers at the carnivals and burger bashes.  Also, she enjoyed vacationing in Florida with her family and friends.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” L. Bair in 2014; also, a brother, Bill Howell.  Ann is survived by her 2 daughters, Becky Mulroy and her husband Pat of Everson and Cindy McFarland and her husband George of Greensburg; her grandchildren, Shelley Soles and her husband Shawn, Quinn Mulroy and his wife Tammy, Elissa McFarland and Michael McFarland; also, 5 great grandchildren.  Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 4-8 PM in Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg.   Ann’s funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10 AM in the funeral home with Rev. Brian B. Chaffee officiating.  Interment will follow in Hillview Cemetery.  Memorial donations for Ann may be made to, Greensburg Hose Company #8 Bell Tower Fund, 900 Highland Avenue, Greensburg, PA 15601.
