Anna Jane Gorton, 106 of Greensburg passed away Saturday, March 13, 2010 in Redstone Highlands.
She was born August 15, 1903 in Unity Township, a Daughter of the late Mark and Maude (Overly) Gorton.
Anna Jane was a graduate of Uniontown High School and Westminster College.
She was an elementary school teacher in the South Union Schools.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Uniontown and was a Sunday School Teacher for many years. Anna Jane was an Avid knitter and enjoyed travelling to England and many other parts of the world..
Anna Jane was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by many cousins.
To honor Anna's request there will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held 11 AM Thursday at Redstone Highlands Chapel 6 Garden Center Drive Greensburg with Chaplain William B. Randolph officiating.
Interment will be in the St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Trauger.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fayette Co. Blind Association or St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 71 North Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, PA 15401.
