Anna Marie Grippo, 87, of Greensburg died on Friday June 8, 2018 in the Excela Westmoreland Hospital. She was born in Greensburg on December 5, 1930 and was the daughter of the late Paul and Carmela Dente Grippo.
Anna was a retired employee with 42 years of service for the Bell Telephone / Verizon Companies. She was a member of the Bell Telephone Pioneers Association and the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Paul Grippo Jr.
Anna is survived by her sister Rose E. Grippo and sister-in-law Katie Grippo along with nieces Maureen (Jeffrey) Svetkovich and Barbara (Eric) Dawson and great nieces and nephews, Matthew, Juliann and Jenna Dawson, Sydney Svetkovich, and Brandon Van Dyke.
A special thanks to her sister-in-law Katie Grippo and all the Doctor's and Nurse's that cared for her in Westmoreland Hospital.
Family and friends will be received at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 N Main Street Greensburg on Monday from 11:30 am until 1 pm, followed by parting prayers and a funeral mass at 1:30 pm in the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, 300 N Main St. Greensburg. Entombment will follow in the Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to either the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral or the American Cancer Society.
