Anna Jane Washabau, 87, died Monday, March 8, 2010. She was born April 3, 1922 in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Charles W. and Elizabeth McKlveen Kinkead.
She was a graduate of Greensburg High School and subsequently worked for the Frank B. Palmer Insurance Agency in Greensburg.
Mrs. Washabau was a charter member of the Full Gospel Church of Greensburg from its inception in 1942 until 2000. She was an active member of the Alpha Ministries Church of Greensburg until her death.
Mrs. Washabau is survived by her husband of 64 years, Brady M. Washabau; three children, Dr. David R. Washabau and wife, Karen, of Flagstaff , AZ, Elizabeth A. Washabau, of Greensburg, and Dr. Robert J. Washabau and wife, Rosalie Kreider, of Minneapolis and West Chester, PA; and two grandsons, Ethan J. Washabau and Noah B. Washabau of West Chester. Mrs. Washabau is survived by three brothers: Charles Kinkead (Jane); Ralph Kinkead (Rhoda); and Edwin Kinkead (Cathy). She was predeceased by her brother Floyd Kinkead (Molly).
Family and friends will be received in the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, INC.524 N. Main St. Greensburg on Saturday from 11 am to 1 pm the hour of services in the funeral home with Rev. James Lyons officiating. Interment will take place in St. Clair Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
