Anne D. Lipecky, 95 of Greensburg, passed away Friday, April 6, 2012, at St. Anne Home, in Greensburg. She was born in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Waclaw Gostkowski and Katarzyna S. Mech. Anne was active at Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, SNPJ Club, and Boy Scouts of America. Proud of her Polish heritage, she loved polka music and dancing. Anne happily cheered for the Steelers every season and looked forward to visiting Steelers Training Camp. She and her husband operated Telev Diner, Verona, Little Kitchen Restaurant, Greensburg, Lipecky's Drive In, Route 30 Unity Township, and concession stands at Mountain View Swimming Pool, Unity Township, and Veteran's Memorial Pool, Greensburg. When Anne retired, she enjoyed trips to Rome and Poland and wintered in Florida. When she was in the Greensburg area she attended festivals, concerts, Bingos, Senior Games and many activities with local senior groups. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Lipecky, January 21, 1972. Surviving are her sons, Dennis J. Lipecky and wife, Susan, of McCandless, and Garret R. Lipecky and wife, Marilyn, of Latrobe; grandchildren, Michele L. Cerza and husband, Scott, of Half Moon Bay, Calif., Christina L. Robinson and husband, Rodney, of Mars, Jason E. Browne and wife, Lauren, of New Kensington, Kevin T. Browne and wife, Nicole, of Camp Hill, and Garret R. Lipecky Jr. and wife, Stephanie, of Martinez, Ga.; and 13 great-grandchildren. Family would like to thank and praise everyone at St. Anne Home, Greensburg, for their loving care. They were all her "Little Angels" and it was her home for the last five years. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME INC. (an authorized remembrance provider), 524 N. Main St., Greensburg. A funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, 300 N. Main St., Greensburg, with Monsignor Raymond Riffle officiating. Everyone please go directly to the church.
