Anne Boulin Robertshaw, 95 of Ligonier, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at her home. Born in Paris, France, Anne was raised in New York City where she was educated at the Lycée Français and Finch Junior College. Anne married John A. Robertshaw, Jr. (Jack) and moved to Greensburg, PA in 1950 where they raised their five children. While raising her children Anne bought several houses in Greensburg and rehabbed them, sometimes installing insulation and painting walls herself. Anne sewed clothes for her daughters as well as created Halloween costumes. In addition she made her own curtains and slipcovers. Later, Anne worked as an interior decorator applying skills she learned at the New York School of Interior Design. Jack and Anne were both great supporters of the Westmoreland Museum of American Art where Anne was on the Women's Committee for countless years while Jack was a longtime member of the Museum Board. Both she and Jack received honorary degrees from Seton Hill University for their contributions to Greensburg. Anne's mother, Paule B. Boulin traveled a great deal with Anne and her sister, Mimi, while they were young, visiting their relatives in France. Jack and Anne met onboard a ship during one of her many trips overseas. For years, the Robertshaws continued their world exploration, including trips to Australia and Africa, among others.Anne was an avid skier, tennis player and later in life, a golfer. Her last shot down the rapids of the Youghiogheny was with her son and twin granddaughters at age 75. At age 80, she was told she could not crawl out on the flat roof to shovel snow. She agreed, begrudgingly. Predeceased by her parents, Camille H. and Paule B. Boulin and her husband, John A. Robertshaw, Jr., Anne is survived by her only sister, Marie-Claude Solvay de La Hulpe, Belgium as well as her five children; John III (Peter) of NYC, Marc (Colleen) of Ligonier, Christopher of Greensburg, Lisa Moeller (Art) of New Florence, Natalie Kelley (Brendan) of Pittsburgh, and her best four-legged friend, Beau. Anne had eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She and Jack were longtime members of the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral until they moved to Ligonier when they became members of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. The Robertshaw family wishes to thank all the caregivers both Anne and Jack had in their later years. They gave great comfort and care to both of them, as well as, support to their children. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, October 13th at KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, 524 N. Main St. Greensburg.
