Barbara Angelo

Barbara Ann (Smith) Angelo, 73, of Greensburg, was called home by the LORD on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2022, in UPMC Shadyside Hospital. She was surrounded by her family after a brave 31-month battle with cancer. No matter where Barbara was, she would easily strike up a conversation and start a whole new friendship. She had a very strong relationship with the LORD and could quote numerous Bible verses by memory. (Jeremiah 29:11. For I know the plans I have for you, “declares the LORD”, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.) In turn she practiced what she preached. She loved singing in the church choirs, and “filled up her bucket list” by singing three times with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir for their annual music conference. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Peter J. Angelo Jr., her children Diana Marie Angelo, Mark Vincent Angelo (Mary-Hannah). Grandchildren Joseph Richard, and Elizabeth Marie Angelo.  And a Special son Rodrigo Fernandez.   Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 4-7 P.M. in the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home Inc., 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg.  Additional visitation will take place on Monday from 10-11 A.M In the Hempfield Church of Christ at which time a service will take Place.  Interment will be private.  In Lieu of flowers, the family suggest that memorial contributions be made to the Mario Lemieux Foundation for Cancer at www.MarioLemieux.org  or to a charity of one’s choice.
