Rev. Barbara A. Knotts, 64 of Greensburg passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2011 in her home.
She was born Monday, July 8, 1946 in Bellevue, Daughter of Lucille Harrington Oellig of Moon Twp. and the late Paul Harrington..
Barbara was a graduate of Montour H.S. class of 1964 and I.U.P. class of 1968. She received her masters of arts in Religion and also her master's of Divinity degree from the Trinity School for Ministry.
She was the priest for the All Soul's in North Versailles from 1995 to 2002. Barbara was a member of the Christ's Church in Greensburg and loved reading and teaching the Holy Scriptures along with gardening and bicycling.
Surviving besides her mother are her loving husband, Rev. Lawrence Knotts and their Daughter, Melissa Dietich and husband James of N.J. and their Son, John Knotts and wife Mandy of Oregon , four grandchildren, Katelyn, Travis Luke and Skyler along with two Brothers, Paul Harrington of Moon Twp.and Robert Harrington of N.C.,
Family and Friends will be received Tuesday from 6-8 pm and Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 N. Main St. Greensburg.
Services will be held at Christ's Church, 145 N. Main Street, Greensburg Thursday, at 1 PM with Archbishop Robert Duncan officiating. (Please go directly to the church.)
Interment will follow in the St. Clair Cemetery.
