Bertha Marie Geckle Grimm, 97 of Greensburg passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Kelly's Personal Care Home, Greensburg.
She was born in Hunker on October 27, 1917, a daughter of the late Harry and Elizabeth (Moore) Geckle.
Bertha was a member of Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Charles Grimm on April 18, 2001, a sister, Edna Hiles, and brothers, Harry and George Geckle.
Survivors include, her daughter, Thelma Mae Repp and husband, Lowell of Bel Air, MD, son, Charles Grimm and wife, Jane of Scottdale; six grandsons, Bill, Brad, and Brian Repp, Russ, Dave, and Donn Grimm; one granddaughter, Carol Sue Byers; 14 great grandchildren, Chad, Cody, Dylan, Devin, Dana, Kevin, Ashley, Eric, and Jason Grimm, Alecia and Ryan Byers, and Andrew, Lauren and Anna Repp; and a sister, Edith Murkley.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2015 from 10-11 AM at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, Greensburg, where a memorial service will take place at 11:00 AM with Rev. Frank Podolinski officiating.
Interment will be held in the Greenridge Memorial Park.
