Bertha Elizabeth Steiner, 92 of the Mt. View Area of Greensburg died Tuesday 5/5/2015 in the Excela Westmoreland Hospital.
She was born in New Alexandria on 7/24/1922 and was the daughter of the late Mille and Marie Moore Cindrick.
Bertha was the oldest living charter member of the Charter Oak Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert R. Steiner Sr. in 1991 and her son-in-law Bill DeWeese, December 14, 2014.
She is survived by her three children, Robert R. Steiner Jr. and wife Mary of Greensburg, Sallie DeWeese of Elon, N.C. and Debbie Thompson of Ligonier and three grandchildren, Erin ( Johan) Brockhuysen , Brian (Cortney) Steiner and Travis Thompson and one great grandchild Ellie Rose Steiner. A brother John (Marvis) Cindrick of Bourne, Texas.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm followed by a funeral service with Rev. Donald Hazel officiating. Interment will follow in the Twin Valley Memorial Park.
