Bette Iannuzzo

December 8, 1943 — August 4, 2017

Bette E. Iannuzzo, 73 of Greensburg, passed away, Friday, August 4, 2017 in the William Penn Care Center.  She was born December 8, 1943 in Latrobe and the daughter of the late Joseph Herrod and Margaret Ackerman Herrod.

Bette was the CEO of Greensburg Beverage following the passing of her husband, G. Lewis “Sonny” Iannuzzo. She enjoyed golfing but her real love was for her family.  Bette adored her grandchildren and devoted her life to loving and caring for them. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents and husband, Sonny, she was preceded in death by her two sons, Mark and Michael Skatell, a step-son, Jimmy Iannuzzo, a brother, Joseph Herrod, and a sister, Margaret "JoAnn" Hall.

She is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Skatell-Knopp and Lisa Skatell-Valesky; a step son, David Iannuzzo and wife Carey; seven grandchildren, Jessica Skatell, Christopher Valesky, Emilee Knopp, Angela Valesky, Dena Valesky, Maryssa Skatell,  and Armando Morton; three step-grandchildren, Tony, Nicklas, and Danielle Iannuzzo, a step daughter in law, Monica Iannuzzo, and her brothers and sisters, Clay Herrod and wife Kathy; Ray Herrod and wife Alberta of Nevada; Janet Roy, Dolores Frye, and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm in the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, INC. 524 N. Main St. Greensburg where Prayers of Transfer will be recited on Wednesday at 9:30 am followed by Bette’s funeral Mass at 10 am in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.  Entombment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.  To share a message of sympathy, please visit www.kepplegraft.com
