Betty Freed

Betty H. Freed, 85 of Greensburg, passed away Sunday September 13, 2009 in Excela Jeannette Hospital.

Betty was born October 19, 1923 in Mt. Pleasant, a Daughter of the late Chester P. and Mary K. Hart.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Greensburg and was a graduate of Ramsay High School with the Class of 1942.

She recently retired from home health care and had deep feelings for the people she took care of. Her love was for her family, her sons and grandson and was blessed with many friends.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her Son Monty Freed, a grandson Jason Scott Freed, a sister Ruth McNulty, and Four Brothers, Chester P. ,William, Richard and Robert Hart.

She is survived by her Son, Randall H. Freed, a Grandson, R. Chase Freed, three Sisters, Gloria Seacrist of Fairless Hills, Virginia Santone of Greensburg, and Carol Balko of Warren, Ohio, and a Brother, Donald Hart of New Kensington.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 4-8 PM at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main St., Greensburg.

A funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home, on Thursday, at 10 AM with Rev. Dr. Duane Morford, officiating.

Interment will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to one's favorite charity in Betty's memory.
