Betty Lou Giles

Betty Lou Giles, 85, of Greensburg, died, Friday, April 11, 2025, in St. Anne Home, Greensburg. She was born March 6, 1940, in Jeannette, a daughter of the late Alton A. and Mildred Loughner Leonard. Betty was a former member of the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral. Prior to retirement, she was an administrative assistant for Myriad Treatment Alliance and the Pennsylvania State Constable Association. Betty loved spending time with her grandchildren, playing cards with her friends and gardening. She also enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Pirates. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome “Jerry” Giles; her sister, Lois Diehl; her brothers, Donald and Al Leonard; stepsons, Benjamin and Arnold Giles; stepdaughter, Jerri L. Giles Liming. Betty is survived by her sons, Todd Urbani, Steve Urbani (Stacey) and Adam Urbani; stepdaughters, Cynthia Giles Hyatt, Sharon Giles Asbee, Mary Beth Giles, Donna Giles Sowa, Susan Giles McClintock, Kelly M. Giles and Cathy Giles Shuey; her grandchildren, Dominic, Mia, Wyatt, Nicholas, Alexis and Aria Urbani; also, several other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
