Betty Gorinsky

Betty J. Gorinsky, 92 of Greensburg passed from this life on Monday, May 28, 2012 in Redstone Highlands in Greensburg.

She was born September 8, 1919 in Greensburg and was the daughter of the late Charles F. and Hilda (Tude) Keener De Vaux.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank L. Gorinsky on February 21, 1996 and two brother-in-laws, Clarence Gorinski and Edward McCallen.

A life long member of the First United Church of Christ and was a graduate of the Greensburg High School Class of 1937.

Prior to retirement in 1986, she was employed in the Greensburg Office of LU #126, IBEW for eighteen years and was also a member of SEIU Local #36.

She is survived by sisters-in-law, Peg Gorinski and Agnes McCallen, first cousins, Thomas De Vaux and Joanne De Vaux Young along with her special cousins, Joyce Sullenberger (George) and Ruth De Vaux Poscich.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 4 to 8pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home, (an authorized remembrance provider) 524 North Main Street Greensburg where services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 am with Rev. Steve Craft officiating.

Interment will follow in Harrold's Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
