Betty M. (Mansfield) Morgan, 92 of Greensburg, passed away, Tuesday. February 21, 2023. She was born July 1, 1930 to the late Aaron B. Mansfield and Mary Winifred (Gelwix) Mansfield. Betty was the last member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Bedillion and brothers, Clifford Mansfield and Boyd Mansfield (Nora); and two infant great-grandchildren. Surviving are her husband of 74 years, Charles W. Morgan; daughters, Jane Yaksic (Ted), Carol Slater (Mike); son, Russell Morgan (Marie); ten grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Norman Bedillion; and several nieces and nephews. She was a stay at home mom for several years and then joined the work force for a short time at the former Troutman's Department Store and then Sears Roebuck for twenty nine years as a customer correspondent. Betty spent many hours typing term papers for her husband while he attended college. Her children could hear the clicking of the typewriter keys sometimes until 2am. After retirement from Sears, Betty became a 'Mary Poppins' to many children whom she loved dearly. Family and friends will be received on Friday from 10 am until 11am at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg. Betty's funeral service will be held on Friday at First Presbyterian Church 300 S. Main Street, Greensburg at 11:30am with Rev. Dr. Martin Ankrum officiating. Entombment will follow in the Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the ProMedica Foundation Memorial Fund 3520 Route 130, Building #3, Irwin PA 15642.
