Betty Jane Snyder, 82 of Greensburg, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2009 in Redstone Highlands.
She was born November 12, 1926 in Columbus, Ohio, a daughter of the late Charles H. and Rosa P. (Norman) Bradford.
She was a member and deacon of the First Presbyterian Church in Greensburg. Betty was very active in many Church organizations and was a member of the PEO and former member of the Garden Club.
Prior to retirement she worked in Sales for the Joseph Horne Department store.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, H. Lawton Snyder (Oct. 6, 2008) and a sister and Five brothers.
Surviving are her children Jill Bernard and husband Roger, of AZ, Laurie Lach and husband Edward of Irwin, and Lawney Snyder and wife Sue of Cranberry Township, a Sister, Dorothy Poe of Columbus, Ohio, seven Grandchildren, Joelle and Kevin Bernard, Amy Scott, Edward and Nicolas Lach, and Alex and Zach Snyder, and a Great-Granddaughter, Gabrielle Scott.
Memorial Services will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, Monday, October 5, 2009 at 11 AM with Rev. Martin Ankrum officiating.
Interment will be in Round Hill Cemetery.
