Betty Waugaman

Elizabeth "Betty" Waugaman, 89 of Greensburg, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at her home.

She was born in 1925 to Robert C. and Ethel (Carey) Henry in Jeanette.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 59 years, Richard A. Waugaman in 2013, a sister Dorothy Poglein and a brother Robert G. Henry.

She is survived by a daughter, Susan E. Miller and husband Daniel, Greensburg; a son Richard A. Waugaman Jr. and wife Sandy, Raleigh, NC; four grandchildren, Daniel R. Miller and wife Courtney, Point Marion, Richard A. Waugaman III and fiancAC.e Tiffney, Andrew R. Waugaman and Ashley N. Waugaman, Raleigh, NC; and several nieces and nephews.

Betty was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jeannette, where she led the Jr. Choir and Jr. Department. She loved gardening, auctions and bulldogs. She will be missed by her bulldog "Lizzy".

A private memorial service will be held at a later date .

Memorial donations may be made to Bridges Hospice Foundation or Tri-City Meals on Wheels.
