Brian J. Baird, 54 of Greensburg passed away Thursday August 8, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born August 24, 1958 in Greensburg and was the son of Jeannine Jamison Baird and the late John M. Baird.
Brian was an employee for the Dollar Energy Fund. and formerly worked for the Pittsburgh Plate Glass Plant in South Greensburg. He was a bartender and head trustee for the Roosevelt Club and a member of the South Greensburg V.F.D. for 17 years. He had attended the South Greensburg United Methodist Church and St. Bruno Church.
He had played JV basketball for Greensburg Salem and was on the Roosevelt Club Volleyball League and its bowling league.
Brian enjoyed his woodworking and gardening in his spare time. Most of all he enjoyed having exotic animals and his dog JW Duke. He was known for selling his brown eggs to friends and neighbors.
Surviving in addition to his mother is his loving wife of 10 years, Vinnie Baird, and children, Nathan Baird and fiancAC.e Susan Crawford, Kelsey Baird, Ashley Roth and husband Jamison, Jesse Baird, Amy Hines and husband Craig and Danielle Grosser, and three grandchildren Noah, Hunter and Nolan. His brother David Baird and wife Vicki and sister Jody Johnston and husband Dave and mother-in-law Virginia Selenbo and brother-in-law Nick Selenbo Jr. along with several aunts, uncles cousins nieces and nephews. .
Family and friends will be received at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm.
Services will be begin on Monday at 10:30 am at the South Greensburg United Methodist Church with Rev. Jack Tickle officiating.

Interment will follow in the Westmoreland Co. Memorial Park.
His family would like to thank everyone for their care and compassion during his battle with pancreatic cancer.
