Carl Rose

Carl Raymond Rose, 59, of Ligonier passed away Friday, November 25, 2016. He was born on March 17, 1957 in Ligonier. Prior to his cancer diagnosis, Carl lived a very active and full life, enjoying hiking in the woods and tending his immaculate gardens. He was employed at Elizabeth Carbide Components in Latrobe for 33 years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Roxanne J. Rose of Ligonier; his three children, Jennie Denton and husband Joshua of Pittsburgh, Kurt Rose and wife Nichole, and Kevin Rose and wife Michelle Tantlinger, all of Ligonier; his three grandchildren who always put a smile on his face, Kaitlyn Rose, Addison Rose and James Denton; sisters, Linda Styncula and her husband, John; Judy Miller and her husband, Tom, and Beth Rose and her husband, Anthony, in addition to several nephews and a niece.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert Rose of Ligonier and Betty Rose of Youngstown; and two of his siblings, Richard Rose and Diane Rose.

Carl's family would like to extend a special thanks to all of the incredible doctors and nurses that saw him through, especially to Darla and Angie, who cared for him so wonderfully until the end.
