Carol A. Powers, 51 of New Florence passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2010 in Excela Latrobe Hospital.
She was born March 30, 1959 in Sacramento, California, a Daughter of the late Paul and Marie Artis.
She was a member of the Holy Family Church in Seward.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Greg Groves.
Surviving are her husband, Mark D. Powers , four Sisters, Sara Jones and husband Don of Mt. Pleasant, Karen Sutherland, of Alabama., Dolores Muir and husband Bob of New Florence, and Margaret Beachy and husband Ed of Hillsdale, two Brothers, Paul T. Artis and wife Carol of Penn Township, and Tim P. Artis and wife Stacey of Latrobe, and Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
Family and friends will be received Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, Inc., 524 North Main St. Greensburg with a prayer service to follow at 8:00 PM in the funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation, 300 Penn Center Blvd., Suite 602, Pittsburgh, PA 15235 in Carol's memory.
