Carolyn Y. Graszl, 89 of Greensburg passed away on July 26, 2011 in the Hempfield Manor .
She was born in Pittsburgh on 1/13/1922 and was the daughter of the late Elmer and Sara Fogel Yund.
Carolyn was a graduate of Muskingum College and a former employee of H.J. Heinz Co. as a Home economist. She was a member of The Our Lady of Grace Church and its Rosary Altar Society and an active volunteer for the American Red Cross.
Carolyn was preceded in death besides her parents by her husband Edward F. Graszl and a sister Marion Simpson..
Surviving are her children Paul Graszl of Greensburg, Rich (Cathy) Graszl of Wexford, Don (Linda) Graszl of New Jersey and Joyce (Brian) Gottbetter of New York along with seven Grandchildren, Anne, Ellen, Kate , Emily and Ava Graszl and Meredith and Joshua Gottbetter. Also a brother E. William Yund of California.
Family and Friends will be received Thursday, 2- 4 & 6 - 8 at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, ( An Authorized Remembrance Provider) 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg, Pennsylvania.
A prayer service will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 9 am followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated in the Our Lady of Grace Church, 1011 Mt. Pleasant Road, Greensburg at 9:30 am .
Interment will follow in the Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to one's favorite charity.
