Carrie Lyons

Carrie L. Lyons, 48, of Greensburg, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. She was born Jan. 19, 1964, in Jeannette, a daughter of Ernest A. Torri Jr. and Joyce M. (Crescenzo) Torri, of Jeannette.
Carrie was an ordained pastor serving the church of Integrity Ministries International in Jeannette. She was also the proprietor of Lyons Merchandise offering Christian materials. She was a graduate of Hempfield High School Class of 1982. Carrie was a selfless and faithful pastor providing charity and clothing to the needy. She also conducted a Bible Study Group at Crossroads Christian Outreach Church Jeannette.
In addition to her ministry to others, her family was the center of her life. She was a loving wife and mother and a devoted sister and daughter.
In addition to her parents, Ernest and Joyce (Crescenzo) Torri, she is survived by her husband, Jon E. Lyons; her three children, Brittanie A. Lyons and fiance, Cody Steiner, Brandie M. Lyons and Zachary D. Lyons; her siblings, Dean Torri and wife, Tammy, Daniel Torri, Kristi Gasper and husband, Greg, and David Torri and wife, Marcie; her mother-in-law, Claribel Lyons; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Donald C. Lyons.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday in the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, INC. 524 N. Main St., Greensburg (an Authorized Remembrance Provider). Additional visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Unity Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crossroad Christian Outreach Church, Jeannette.
