Catherine V. Dolfi, 77, of Belle Vernon, passed away, July 16, 2009 at the home of her daughter in Greensburg. She was born July 19, 1931 in Donora a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Bertina Rozik.
She had been employed as a clerk with Growers Exchange in Elizabeth and attended St. Anne Catholic Church in Rostraver. Catherine lived for her grandchildren. She was a wonderful cook and had beautiful outdoor flower gardens. She endured her illness long enough to be here for the birth of her 2 month old granddaughter Bella, who was born May 11, 2009. She will be remembered for her spunk and fiesty personality.
She is survived by her daughter and best friend, Tina L. King and her husband Frank of Greensburg; two grandchildren, Arthur Conforti and Bella King and two step-grandchildren, Frankie and CJ King; a brother, Joseph Rozik of Donora; numerous nieces and nephews, including a special niece Shari Fox.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years on August 7, 2007, who was the love of her life; a sister, Ann Torhan and 10 brothers, Rudy, George, Tony, John, Freddie, Steve, Andy, Alex and Pete Rozik.
In honoring her wishes, there will be no public viewing. The family will announce a memorial mass at a future date and time. Arrangements are entrusted to the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, INC. 524 N.
