Cecelia M. Luksis, 98, of Greensburg, formerly of West Mifflin, died Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015, in Brookdale Latrobe (formerly Emeritus of Latrobe). She was born June 10, 1917, in Braddock, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Uzepas Nauyokas. She was a member of St. Vincent Basilica Parish, Latrobe. Cecelia loved music and singing and dancing with her husband of 70 years, William F. Luksis, who died in 2009. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her three brothers and three sisters. Cecelia was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her daughter, Gerry Kratzenberg (Thomas), of Greensburg; and a son , William "Duke" Luksis (Suzanne), of Raleigh, N.C.; six grandchildren, Dr. Thomas (Ann) Kratzenberg, Dr. Karen (Joseph) Lazzaro, David Kratzenberg (Jennifer), Jason Luksis (Amanda), Katie (Darren) Riccio and Melissa (Adam) Perez; also, 14 great-grandchildren. There will be no public visitation. A funeral Mass for Cecelia will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in the St. Vincent Basilica, 300 Fraser Purchase Road, Latrobe. Friends and family should gather at the church. Interment will follow in St. Vincent Cemetery.
