Charlene E. Kapusta, 62 of Greensburg passed away Monday, September 5, 2016 at Excela Latrobe Hospital.
She was born July 29, 1954 in Connellsville, the daughter of Betty M. (Fordyce) Zur and the late Peter Zur.
Charlene was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral. She enjoyed crafts and was a fantastic cook.
Charlene worked as a nurse for Interim Healthcare and had worked alongside her husband at his Dental Office.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her loving husband, Martin A. Kapusta, Jr.; brothers, William Zur and wife, Margo of Rockwood, Gregory Zur and wife, Nancy of Rector; sisters-in-law, Rose Mary Kapusta of Slickville and Lisa (Kapusta) Gilpin of Greensburg, nieces, Mariah and Becky Zur both of Rockwood and Amanda Shotts and husband, Dave and their children, April and David James Shotts all of Tarrs; and her loving dogs and protectors, Regan, Ike, and Thatcher; and cat, Hope.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 6-8pm and also on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg.
Prayers of transfer will be recited on Thursday at 9 am in the funeral home followed by a funeral mass at 9:30am at the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral 300 N. Main Street, Greensburg.
Entombment will follow in the St. Clair Cemetery.
