Charles G. McCombs, Jr., 61 of Greensburg, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his wife and daughters, Tuesday, October 22, 2013 in Excela Latrobe Hospital.
He was born December 19, 1951 in Latrobe and was the son of the late Twila E. (Ramsey) and Charles G. McCombs Sr.
Charles was a History and Civil War Buff and an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and member of the A.A.N.A.
He worked for 38 years at the Excela Latrobe Hospital in the Anesthesia Department. He also taught at the Westmoreland -Latrobe Anesthesia School for many years.
Surviving are his loving wife of 40 years, Michele (Yanos) McCombs, two daughters, Jennifer (Doug) Siko and Jamie (Greg) Paterno and the pride and joy of his life, his five grandchildren, Zachary, Bailey, Michael, Anna, and Madilyn along with his two brothers, Lynn McCombs, and Jay (Robbie) McCombs and his best buddy, Milo. Also, surviving are mother-in-law, Jean Yanos, sister-in-law, Andrea Petrill, and brother-in-law, Keith (Laurie) Yanos, and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 6-8pm and Thursday from 2-4pm and 6-8 pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street , Greensburg.
Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 10:00 am with Pastor Mary Ann Milne officiating from New Life Methodist Church, Jeannette.
Interment will follow in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
