Charlotte Jinkner

Charlotte Binkey Jinkner, 93, of Greensburg passed away, Friday, August 7, 2015.

She was born in Latrobe a daughter of the late Grover C. and Lottie (Andrews) Binkey.

A 1943 graduate of Grove City College, she taught French, English and Latin at West Newton High School.

Charlotte was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Greensburg and a member of the Greensburg College Club.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert R. Jinkner, and sisters Margaret B. Lemmon, Ruth B. Myers and Mabel B. Aukerman.

Surviving are her daughters, Amy Jinkner-Lloyd (Mark Schneider) of Stone Mountain, GA and Jeannine Jinkner Cassey (the late John C. Cassey, Jr.) of Newark, DE; grandson, Andrew Cassey; granddaughter, Jamie Cassey Hudson (Jeff Hudson) and great grandsons Jack and Grant Hudson; a niece and five nephews and sister-in-law, Martha Nash.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 1:30pm until the time of service at 2pm at Unity Chapel with Rev. Martin Ankrum officiating.

Private interment will be in the Unity Cemetery, Latrobe.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Unity Chapel c/o Latrobe Presbyterian Church 428 Main Street, Latrobe, PA 15650.
