Charlotte Fennell Johnston, 86 of Greensburg, passed away, January 19, 2015 at her home.
She was born in McCullough, PA, a daughter of the late William S. and Ellen (O'Connell) Fennell.
Charlotte was a graduate of Greensburg High School in 1946 and the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in 1949. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and served as a chairperson of the altar guild and Vanguard Sunday School Class.
Prior to retirement she worked as a Registered Nurse.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, J. Dale and Eugene Fennell and a sister, Jo Ann Haines.
Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Charles H. Johnston; daughter, Kimberly A. Ivory and husband, William of Greensburg, son, Dr. Spencer A. Johnston and wife, Sharon of Statham, GA; her grandchildren, Chet (Nicole) Bell, Amanda Bradosky, Ayla (Micah) Ott, George and Alex Johnston; great grandchildren, Trinity Bradosky, Jordan and Shyla Ott, Evan and Reese Charlotte Bell; her brother, Glenn Fennell; sister, Mary Elizabeth Fennell Blatney and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg.
Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 11am.
Interment will follow in the Westmoreland Co. Memorial Park, Greensburg, Pennsylvania 15601.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church 15 E. Second Street, Greensburg, PA 15601.
