Clarence Lee Beckett, 94 of Greensburg, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2015; at Weatherwood Assisted Living Care. Lee was born October 4, 1921, to Clarence M. and Lillian Mae (Hohn) Beckett. Lee was a member of the First Baptist Church, Greensburg for over 30 years and participated in the Fellowship Class and Young at Heart. He was an avid hunter and a member of the McKeesport Gun Club, Youngwood Gun Club and the NRA. He retired in 1984 as a manufacturing engineer for Westinghouse. Lee is survived by his loving wife of 73 years, Betty Grace (Hite) Beckett, Greensburg; A son, Donald E. and wife, Debra (Mauro) Beckett, Pittsburgh; seven grandchildren, Sharon Hackbart, Beth Bostrom, David Hackbart, Douglas Beckett and wife Cassandra, Michael Beckett and wife Nicole, Steven Beckett, Bradley Beckett and wife Amanda;Nine great grandchildren, Joshua, Jonah and Isabella Bostrom, McKayla, Lucus, and Vivian Beckett, Issac, Kayleigh and Naomi Hackbart, Daughter-in-law Mary Jo Beckett, Son-in-law James Hackbart and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Robert Lee Beckett, a daughter, Jean (Beckett) Hackbart, and a brother William Beckett. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1-3 and 6-8 PM at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, Greensburg. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church, 1228 Brinkerton Road, Greensburg with Dr. Cliff Hockensmith officiating. Entombment will follow at the Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.The family would like to extend a special thanks to Weatherwood Assisted Living Care for the excellent care and compassion.
