Cynthia Dee

Cynthia H. “Cindy” Dee, 74, of Greensburg, died, Sunday, May 15, 2022, in St. Clair Hospital, Mt. Lebanon.  She was born in Greensburg on April 7, 1948, a daughter of the late John and Rose Fenili Havaran.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Greensburg where she taught Sunday school for 25 years.  She was a graduate of St. Xavier High School, Latrobe and went on to earn an associate degree at Cazenovia College.  Cindy always put her family first before her needs.  She was proud to be a boys’ mom, a sports mom, and a mom that experienced great pleasure in feeding all of the people that came through her house.  She wore a smile daily and had a positive outlook. “Her cup was always half full.”  She also was a member of Job’s Daughters.  She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Gary G. Dee; her sons, Eric Dee (Tawnya), Christopher Dee (Stacy) and Jonathan Dee (Mary); her sister, Debra Dekle (Darrin); her grandchildren, Grayson, Beckham and Sophia Dee; step grandchildren, J.D. and Madison Durbin; and several nieces and nephews.  Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 4 to 8 pm at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg.  A funeral service for Cindy will be held on Friday at 10 am in the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Westmoreland County, 139 Humane Society Road, PO Box 1552, Greensburg, PA 15601 or to GBS CIDP Foundation International, 375 East Elm Street, Suite 101, Conshohocken, PA 19428, www.gbs-cidp.org .  The Dee family would like to thank the following for the wonderful care of Cindy:  The staff of Sunrise of Upper St. Clair, St. Clair Hospital, Mutual Aid EMS of Greensburg and especially caregiver, Leahkim McConnell Cherrington.  For online condolences, please visit www.kepplegraft.com
