Daniel A. Trumbetta, 85, of Jeannette, passed away Friday, May 3, 2013, in Redstone Highlands, Greensburg. He was born April 8, 1928, in Greensburg, a son of the late Daniel A. and Helen (Pekarthy) Trumbetta. Daniel was a graduate of the Greensburg High School and the University of Pittsburgh. He was a pharmaceutical consultant specializing in the clinical laboratory and diagnostics, and worked for Fisher Scientific, General Diagnostics Division of Warner Lambert and fro the publisher Frost and Sullivan in New York City. Daniel enjoyed his business career and he was an avid reader. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the Army. Daniel is survived by his wife of 61 years, Marjorie (Connor) Trumbetta, of Jeannette; Susan L. Trumbetta and her husband, the Rev. David Montanye of N.Y.; Robert V. Trumbetta, of Virginia; Donald M. Trumbetta and his wife, Ruth, of Hempfield Township; Mary Trumbetta and her husband, Mark Piccolino, of Jeannette; and a grandson, Thomas E. Trumbetta, of Hempfield Township. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Thomas L. Trumbetta; a brother, Richard D. Trumbetta; and a sister, Jeanne Donoghue. "Honoring Daniel's wishes, there will be no public visitations. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, 524 Main St., Greensburg, with Rev. Steve Morse officiating. Entombment will be in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont."
