Darlene L. Zundel, 68 of Greensburg passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2009 in Oak Hill Nursing Home in Hempfield Twp.
She was born Saturday, July 26, 1941 in Greensburg, Daughter of Leona McIntire Zundel of Greensburg and the late Luther B. Zundel .
Darlene was a member of Harrold Zion Lutheran Church and had served for forty years as the church custodian.
Since retiring from the church she was a care giver for her mother.
Surviving in addition to her mother is a Brother, Bernard H. Zundel and wife Carolyn of Greensburg, a niece Christie O'Neill and husband Michael and two nephews Brad Zundel and wife Lisa and Bret Zundel and wife Heidi. Her great nieces and nephews Jesse, Lucas and Kayla Zundel and Kelly and Emily O"Neill.
Family and Friends will be received in the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 N. Main Street Greensburg on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
Additional visitation will be held on Wednesday at the
Harrold Zion Lutheran Church from 10 till 11 am at which time a service will be held with Rev. John Smaligo and Rev. Robert Free co- officiating.
Interment will follow in the Harrold Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
