Darrel Kennedy

Darrel L.Kennedy, 79 of Greensburg passed away on Saturday 1/7/2012 at his home.

He was born on 9/20/1932 in Morgantown , WV. and was the son of the late George and Marie Kennedy .

Darrel was a graduate of West Virginia Univ. with a civil engineering degree.

He later served in the Army and was a retired engineer with West Penn Power Company.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Greensburg and an avid golfer and member of the Hannastown Golf Club.

For many years he was a supporter of Boystown.

Darrel was preceded in death besides his parents by his brother Donald Kennedy.

He will be dearly missed by his loving family and his special grandchildren who were a big part of his life.

Surviving is his loving wife of 57 years Margaret Kennedy two sons Michael Kennedy and wife Marybeth of Pittsburgh , John Kennedy and wife Ruth of California along with his six Grandchildren Kelsey, Zachary, Benjamin, Lauren, Rachel and Hannah.
Family and Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, (an authorized remembrance provider) 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg, Pa.

Services will be held in the Funeral Home on Thursday at 10:00 am with Rev. W. Steven Morse officiating.

Interment with full military honors accorded by the VFW Post #33 will follow in the St. Clair Cemetery.
