David "Dave" Pletcher, 42 of Greensburg, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday January 12,2014 at his home.
He was born June 28, 1971 in Dayton, Ohio and was the son Jack and Mary Ann Pletcher of Greensburg.
Dave enjoyed watching football, hockey and playing pool for the Frontier Club in Latrobe where he was a member the pool league.
He graduated from Greensburg Salem High School in 1989 and received his associate degree in criminal justice/corrections officer at WCCC in 2010.
Dave was very fond of animals and rescued several cats and dogs. He had numerous friends that he met through his many years of DJ'ing, working as a cook and corporate trainer for the Italian Oven. He had also earned the Leadership and Success certificate. Dave was preceded in death by an infant sister.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his "baby" sister Christine Gworek and husband Michael, nieces Marissa Miller and her daughter Lily Ana Hummel and a niece Chelsea Calcagni
Family and friends will be received at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street Greensburg on Thursday from 2-4 and 6 to 8 PM.
Services will be held immediately after the visitation at 8 PM with Rev. Sung Chung of the Otterbein United Methodist Church officiating
